In May, the Chamber of Deputies approved the PEC (Proposed Constitutional Amendment) that ends the 6x1 work schedule. Since then, the debate has heated up, but it has remained superficial. In this video, we go back to 1780 – when working less meant going hungry – and follow the evolution of work over these 250 years to better understand this history. After all, is it possible to work less and earn more? Spoiler: yes. The developed world did it. And Brazil even started to do it, but stopped halfway.
