Frank Zappa, WBAI 'Zappathon' 22 January 1994, pt. 1

Don Ferrante of Clifton, NJ sent me this 10-cassette recording when we were both active tape traders back in the `90s. I recently looked for his contact information online so that I could thank him for his excellent work, only to find that he died in 2021. Damn! I never met Don, but we exchanged letters along with several tape trades and spoke on the telephone a couple times. I asked him how he managed to record a 24-hour program and he told me he used VHS tapes with his deck set to record audio only (I'm still not sure how that works, but some traders knew of this trick), which allowed him to record six hours at a time in high-quality audio.
