Wilde Reise nach Hoi An - besser nicht herkommen, oder doch? :)
Hoi An has many faces – and today we explored the ones you won't find on the first page of any guidebook. Together with our group, we embarked on a wild scooter tour through the surrounding countryside. What we experienced: Curiosities along the way: A stop at the statue workshops. Hidden gem: A mysterious collection of vintage Citroëns in the middle of nowhere. Relaxation: A coffee break at "Roving Chill Coffee" nestled among the rice paddies. Beach check: A visit to Cua Dai Beach (and why we almost didn't want to leave). Join us on this slightly different tour and decide for yourself if Hoi An is worth a visit (spoiler alert: Absolutely!). We also share tips on buying vs. renting a scooter and why a foot-operated gearshift is ultimately the most fun in Vietnam. 📍 I've linked all the locations from the video here: Cua Dai Beach: https://maps.app.goo.gl/4skkhtRTjNiMx... Especially convenient: the Wise debit card, which lets you pay directly in the local currency – often cheaper than with many banks. 👉 Open a Wise account: https://wise.com/invite/ihpc/stephanw... * My DKB Visa credit card: I'm absolutely satisfied with my DKB account, including the Visa debit card, which I mainly use for payments in addition to Wise. It's ideal for digital nomads and also for vacationers, as you can withdraw money abroad free of charge (fees may apply from the respective bank abroad). If you're also considering this, here's my referral link: ➡️ Get the card here: https://is.gd/N8VMPI * I also use the TF Bank Mastercard Gold because it has no annual fee, allows free payments and withdrawals worldwide (with proper repayment), and includes travel insurance. ➡️ Click here for the card: https://is.gd/A0R7aE * Important: The card works best if you transfer the full amount promptly after the statement, otherwise interest will accrue. I always use it this way myself.
