Gnomeo & Juliet - Wheelie Bin - Storyboard Animatic

A scene from Gnomeo and Juliet. In this version Gnomeo is exiled from the gardens in a wheelie bin which is in turn taken away by the refuse truck. The Production were informed by Disney that Pixar, who were making Toy Story 3 at the time, had a similar story line of toys meeting their demise at a recycling centre. The third act of Gnomeo was rewritten removing this idea. Ultimately it worked out better for the film but it meant this scene had to be cut. Storyboard by Dean Roberts, Studio Red Robin Ltd.
