Frying Pan Ranch in Potter County, Texas is home to 1,100 cattle, prairie dogs, white-tailed deer and an array of flora like mesquite trees and native grasses. A power transmission line cuts through the center of the property, and it’s in the path of three more power lines proposed by utility company Xcel Energy. That’s a problem for the Frying Pan Ranch.
