Learning Because the Night for My Wife | Guitar Practice, B Minor, and Making the Moment Real

I wasn’t sure I had a video in me today. It’s been a long week. I wanted to play guitar, and somewhere in the middle of that, I decided I wanted to learn Because the Night so I could eventually play it for my wife. She is not the Springsteen obsessive that I am, but she has gone to three Bruce shows with me, and the last time we saw him, we both screamed this song together so loud it turned the whole night into one of those permanent memories. So now the mission is simple: Learn the song. Fight the B minor chord. Make enough music to make the moment real. This is a look at how I actually practice guitar: using chord charts, isolating the ugly transitions, slowing things down, working with a metronome, playing through the hard parts, and letting the song slowly become something my hands can understand.
