'The Moon Will Sing' | A Grian AU Animation |

After 10 long months... it is finally finished. I got the idea for this animation back in June 2025, when I was listening to the Crane Wives for the first time, and the song 'The Moon Will Sing' immediately caught my attention. When I find songs to animate to, I first listen to the lyrics over and over and let my imagination piece together a story to be told. Key scenes match up with key verses, transitions line up with beat drops, and boom. All that's left is to animate it. Easy, right? NO. Each step of the animation process (storyboard, rough animation, lineart, colour blocking, backgrounds, shading/lighting, and effects) takes dozens upon dozens of hours, hours which I could be using to do literally anything else lol... But hey, to 400+ hours I spent on this is probably worth it?
