No Spark? How to Test, Diagnose and Repair! Full Video.

What do you do when your bike won’t start and you find out that it has no spark? Most people just list them on market place and say that it just needs the carb cleaned from sitting but WE are Smarter than that and we don’t let something like no spark stop us from having fun! So let’s have a look at this old Yamaha TT-R 225 that came to me with a no spark condition. This bike belongs to a friend of mine and he said that it was running fine until he shut it off and then could not get it to start again. So he asked us if maybe we could figure out what’s wrong with it and maybe see if we can get it going for him again. I am fairly confident that we can figure it out so Follow along if you’d like to and you just might learn something. The problem ended up being a faulty charge coil in the stator however the ignition coil also proved to be bad, so we went and replaced both of these items in hopes that it would solve the no spark issue.
