The demons existed before the chimera ants did. Y/n was a daughter of an assassin, but y/n does not @ssassinate for money or without a reason. y/n only goes after those who have done something wrong. The Demon Slayer Corps saw the potential y/n had, so they invited y/n to become a demon slayer, The reason Y/n accepted is because A demon k1lled y/n's sister. Y/n was still an assassin even though y/n was in the Demon Slayer Corps. Y/n took the hunter exam to get a hunter's license. The Demon Slayer Corps were a secret, hidden from the public eye. Therefore only a few people know about it. When Y/n had heard about the Chimera ants, y/n offered to help. No one knew, not even the hunters, or those who had run a background check on y/n. During the battle with a lot of chimera ants, y/n ended up using too much aura. Now y/n is unable to use Nen. She went back to the Demon Slayer Corps and fought demons.
