Scrap Fabric Greeting Cards - With BONUS footage making a Valentine Card

Let's take some of our scraps and make a beautiful greeting card! I'll show you a few ways that they can be made, but there are way too many to film. You could make a birthday card, Anniversary card, a card for any holiday or for whatever reason you may need a card. Whether you use scraps of strips, crumbs, fabric pieces, leftover quilt blocks, etc, before you know it, your scraps will become a work of art that you can gift to a loved one. I had a lot of fun making this tutorial, as it's kind of a "visit" with you all, as well. I'll be showing you postcards that I've made, since I felt that those could also give you some inspiration. The cards shown measure 5" x 7", but you can certainly use whatever you have on hand. Supplies used in today's video include: Scrap Fabrics of various sizes, leftover crumb quilt block, fussy cut fabrics for decoration, scraps of Cotton Batting, Heat n Bond Lite (link below this list), school glue, scissors, thread, rotary cutter, acrylic ruler, old and new sewing machine needle, lace (ric rac, buttons, etc for embellishments), blank set of card/envelope (link below or you could make your own with Card Stock or Comic Book Board paper and envelopes).
