OVERSIZED & OVER THE EDGE. 160,000 POUND LOAD IN DANGER!!!

A driver with an oversized load grossing out a little over 160,000 pounds (72,575 Kg) pulls onto the shoulder of the interstate to fix a brake that was hanging/dragging. The brake was getting hot, so rather than have a fire, the driver pulled over to take care of the situation. Unfortunately, to clear the driving lane, he had to pull partially onto the SOFT shoulder, and, when he did, it was all over. The more he tried to move, the further gravity took the trailer down the embankment. I roll out in our flagship rotator #11, the Peterbilt 389X with a Miller Industries, Century 1150R heavy rotator towing and recovery unit. Oscar rolls out with our newer Western Star #18 with the Century 9055XL. The truck was in the driving lane and couldn't move!!!
