The Summer Spinner Bite for Lake of the Woods Walleyes

The months of June, July, and August are traditionally fantastic for pulling spinners and crawlers for Lake of the Woods walleyes. As we creep into June, the spinner bite has definitely started. Joe Henry is fishing with John Bergsma of ‎⁨@FishermansDigest⁩  and Greg Jones of Midwest Outdoors and long-time Lake of the Woods angler. The three explain how they made some key decisions early in the day, which led them to a very successful day of walleye fishing, pulling spinners. Drifting or trolling spinners with crawlers literally catches thousands of walleyes throughout the summer months. It's a great way to cover water presenting flash, vibration, color, and the scent of a juicy crawler to hungry walleyes.
