In this video, I'll take you inside my little house on the edge of the woods. A former chicken coop on a listed farmstead, which I've converted into my home. 26 square meters, one room, a wood-burning stove, two large doors. One opens onto the yard, the other directly onto the forest. I'm in my late fifties, a grandmother, and I consciously decided to reinvent my life. After years in the city, I opted for a very quiet life in the countryside. The cottage is a one-person living space. Open, uncluttered, and minimalist. The kitchen, a small dining area, a sitting area, and at the center, the wood-burning stove, which burns all day and is my only heating system. Upstairs on the mezzanine are my sleeping area and my wardrobe. A large part of my daily life takes place in the garden. I tend a herb garden, a flower garden, and my vegetable garden. This isn't a hobby, but my daily work. This video is a personal glimpse into a place that holds special meaning for me.
