RE71RS vs V730

I recently did two days back to back at Lime Rock. The first day I drove on fourth day Bridgestone RE71RS in 295/35/18 on 18x11 wheels. The second day I drove on first day Kumho V730 in 275/35/18 on 18x10.5 wheels. Audio is from the RE71RS lap. This is the closest I have come to comparing two different tires at the same time. Yes it was two different days, fresh vs used and different temps but it's still a fun comparison. First day on the RE71RS I managed to get about .2 secs within my current PB of 56.82 that I did in the spring. RE71RS hate heat and this was on the 8th lap of the morning session so I was pushing the car a bit with them. Second day on the fresh V730's, it took me three sessions to get used to the reduced grip and having to drive the car a little differently but I got them to within 1.3 secs of the RE71RS in the fourth session which is pretty impressive. I believe I can get them into the 57's on a cooler day. 2020 Toyota Supra Pure 700 turbo GESI catted downpipe E40 fuel blend Custom self tuned via Bootmod3 Wagner Intake mani-cooler Do88 aux coolers MCS 2WAY NR Coilovers 650lb front / 600lb rear Whiteline 24mm front sway bar - full soft Verkline front LCA Turner caster arm bushings SPL toe arms front.
