Today’s Q&A… Hey Bill, I’m a bit confused still on what is meant when you talk about compressive strategies. How does that manifest/present itself symptom wise other than the loss of joint ROM such as IR/ER? For example, if someone who is a narrow ISA and has a lower posterior compressive strategy, does that mean they would feel hypertonicity/tension in those muscle below the trochanter? Or does it just manifest as a restriction in movement and not cause the tissues themselves to feel tense or painful?  #narrowISA #compression #BillHartmanPT
