The East Japan tournament uses a survival format where *2 wins advance to the main tournament, 2 losses eliminate*. The 8 winners will advance to the main tournament held on October 4th (Sat). --- ■ Preliminary Round Rules Participants will be matched by lottery to determine opponents. 2 wins to advance to the Best 8 (main tournament) 2 losses to be eliminated Preliminary round ends when the Best 8 are determined. Round 1 All participants will be matched by lottery. Round 2 Participants will be divided into groups with 1 win and 1 loss, and matchups will be determined by lottery again. Round 3 Participants with 1 win and 1 loss will compete against each other to determine who advances to the main tournament. *If the number of participants is odd, a nomination battle will be held where the remaining players nominate opponents from within the venue. -- ■ Battle Time Main Tournament 60 seconds x 4 (alternating) Overtime 60 seconds / 60 seconds / 30 seconds / 30 seconds *Overtime is generally limited to one time. --- ■ Judging System Winners and losers will be determined solely by **Audience CALL (audience volume)**. Battle Start MC: "Everybody say!" → Audience: "Beatbox!" Judgement The MC calls out each contestant one by one, "○○, CALL OUT!! 3, 2, 1…" At this signal, the audience shouts out the contestant's name. The judges compare the cheers from each contestant to determine the winner. -- ■ Loser's Bracket "CALL OUT" Held after the Best 8 are determined. MC MAKA selects 4 contestants from the eliminated contestants. Each contestant nominates an opponent from the 8 main tournament qualifiers and explains their reasoning. The contestant who receives the most cheers from the audience will be revived as a wildcard and will play a match against the main tournament qualifier they nominated. Victory: Advances to the main tournament Defeat: The current main tournament qualifier advances This match will determine the final 8 main tournament qualifiers. --- As this will be a new event with new rules and procedures, including the West Japan qualifiers, the battle rules may be changed at any time for improvement.
