Eventually turning eastward, the road stretches straight as an arrow under a vast, endless sky, as a peaceful rural landscape unfolds. And rising from these tranquil fields stands a grand vermilion Torii gate. At an imposing height of 21.7 meters, it feels like a quiet boundary separating the everyday from the realm of ancient myths.
