Interview with Prof. Sandro Michelini, Clinical Lymphologist, Head of the Rehabilitation Unit at the Hospital of the Military Order of the Knights of Malta, San Giovanni Battista in Rome, President of the International Society of Lymphology and President of ITALF, the Italian Lymphedema Framework. On the day dedicated to rare diseases, Prof. Sandro Michelini offered his valuable contribution, interviewed during the LIO conference events in November 2019. Always supportive of lipedema patients, Dr. Michelini is personally addressing the delicate issue of the pathology's recognition with the WHO. He has collaborated with the LIO association since its inception and has contributed to providing diagnostic support and the validation of numerous association initiatives.
