come with me as i attend my first singapore f1 grand prix! i attended the dutch grand prix last year while i was on exchange so i thought i definitely have to attend the one in my own home country ❤️🇸🇬 filmed on osmo dji pocket 3 (could bring it in because it was for personal use! just tell them it's the gimbal only and no tripod/selfie sticks) time-stamps: outfit-check: 00:00 - 00:30 lunch: 00:30 - 02:08 merch-hunting: 02:08 - 03:12 dinner: 3:12 - 3:24 heading to the race track: 3:24 - 3:44 exploring circuit: 3:44 - 4:20 driver's parade: 04:20 - 04:39 lewis capaldi's set: 04:39 - 6:01 exploring circuit pt.2: 06:01 - 06:51 race: 06:51 - 09:22 heading to see elton john: 09:22 - 10:09 elton john's set: 10:09 - 10:29 leaving: 10:29 - 11:25 i bought my 1-day sunday stamford grandstand seats for $388 in november 2024. missed the super early-bird tickets which apparently sold 3-day stamford grandstand seats for $488... so aiming for early-bird ticketa for next year at least!!! i was seated at: stamford grandstand, section a2, row 22, seat 4 tip: section a2 is closer to T7 whereas section a6 is closer to T8! also do note that if you get lower seats you are closer to the action but covered by the fence whereas higher up you get a little unobstructed view. i went with higher up so i could see more of the area between T7 and T8 too!! i didn't watch the f1 academy and porsche races earlier in the day because i don't follow the particular series but i went to merch hunt in the day!!!! it was a super fun experience and i definitely want to be back in 2026! (although there will probably be a really lame sprint hahahah)
