Today we are heading to our favorite island, Koh Chang, which is about a 6-hour drive from Bangkok and located right next to Pattaya. If you are planning a 2-day getaway around the Pattaya area, this island is absolutely perfect. To get there, you have to cross a ferry that only runs until 6:00 PM, so you must reach the ferry terminal before that time to enter the island. We reached Koh Chang around 7:00 PM, and after traveling all day, we were pretty exhausted. We decided to just grab some dinner, hang out with friends for a bit, and then head straight to bed. The next morning, we took our car and drove from one end of the island to the other to visit a restaurant we’ve been to once before. The place is stunning, and I’ll leave the link for it in the description below. If you are someone who loves a peaceful environment, you are going to fall in love with Koh Chang. It gives off a vibe very similar to Nusa Penida in Bali. Tucked away from the city hustle, quiet and serene, with winding hilly roads and a beautiful sea.
