This two-day symposium, Urban Ambition: Assessing the Evolution of L.A., analyzes and debates diverse issues related to L.A.'s rich architectural history, its ongoing transformation, and its intriguing future. This symposium is part of the programming for the exhibition Overdrive: L.A. Constructs the Future 1940--1990, on view at the J. Paul Getty Museum from April 9 to July 20, 2013.
