[Webinar] What does good integrated local transport look like?

Our second thought leadership webinar, hosted by Thomas Ableman, explores transport integration at a local and regional level – what does the best of the best look like? Hear from those across the UK and internationally how they’ve achieved integration with or without formal powers - and look at some of the challenges that present themselves to delivery. To start, our host Thomas Ableman will be 'in conversation' with Andrew Carter, the Chief Executive of Centre for Cities and then will get the views of our panel of speakers - they include: Emma Strain, Customer Director, Transport for London Jamie Ross, Director of Transport for Liverpool City Region Combined Authority David Milner, Managing Director, Create Streets Claudio Büchel, Head of Offer Planning, VBG (the public transport agency for the northern suburbs of Zurich which has the best integrated transport in Europe) and a lecturer for transport planning at the University of Applied Sciences in Rapperswil. Michael Solomon-Williams, Head of External Affairs, Campaign for Better Transport They will share what works for them including lessons learnt and words of caution - as well as looking forward to the new modes and technologies that could be in our future. They will also explore how, in our ever-changing physical environment, we use place-making and funding models to embed public transport integration into new development.
