2011 Nissan Sentra - Cylinder 1 Misfire Diagnosis

This car has been an ongoing intermittent misfire issue for our client. A previous shop installed new ignition coils and spark plugs but the problem still existed. Although ignition coil failure is not uncommon, this vehicle proves that proper time spent diagnosing the problem is crucial. The oscilloscope waveforms were normal even while the engine was misfiring which led me to the fuel system. Maybe next time I will video the procedure for relative compression using the oscilloscope.
