⛺️STUD BEEF VICTORIA HANDLERS CAMP 2026⛺️ Great to be back down south in Geelong after 2 years away since our first SBVHC . The junior paraders were very excited to bring out their heifers as this marks a mile stone parading our cattle in 3 states in one show season . Congratulations to the committee, volunteers, sponsors, stewards & judges for another brilliant & welcoming local event. We enjoyed 4 days & 3 nights in the cattle shed with the show team and the other enthusiastic 65 participants. Plenty of education, presentations, farmers group challenge, junior judging, meals, footy games, parading & all while sharing the experience of a common interest for the community of beef cattle husbandry. This year was extra special for us as a stud for one of our junior paraders BRIAH FLOCCO whom was awarded a scholarship at the MELBOURNE ROYAL 2024 SHOW. Thankyou to the committee of MELBOURNE ROYAL & STUD BEEF VICTORIA for sponsoring the opportunity for Briah to attend this great camp. This year we were privileged to share the ring with great examples of british and euro breeds but also an extra plus for us was in 2026 SBVHC hosted the company of 12 individual paraders from across 6 galloway cattle studs which was a great effort on behalf of the breed in Australia. A special mention to LONGVIEW AGRICULTURAL for orgainising our feed for the camp, was great to be bedded next to our mates and we appreciated all the support across the event.
