I describe some common mistakes to avoid and best practices to help you smoothly integrate with a provided sound system. Plus, just best practices for small details when you build your IEM rig. In ear monitors are only becoming more and more popular at all levels of live music. From church stages to clubs to arenas. While many of these best practices have been implemented for years on large scale tours and festival stages, many newer artists who are getting into IEMs for the first time, or just starting out in the traveling and touring world, haven't experienced some of these best practices.
