😱 Zufallsfund im Wald: Vergessenes Weltkriegs-Lager mit Stollen und Inschrift entdeckt!

Today we were actually headed for a completely different destination, but then everything changed. In the Verdun area, we spontaneously stumbled upon the remains of a German camp from the First World War: massive concrete bunkers, trenches, and a find that truly surprised us: a clear inscription "1917" and an area with still-visible wooden paneling inside. We explored the Parinsaux Camp in the Bois le Parinsaux near Gincrey and then continued on to the Gersdorff Camp, where we even found a preserved telephone/signals building, complete with details that reveal how people worked, organized, and lived "behind the front lines." Finally, we'll show you a position that many don't know about: the Baroncourt Gun in the Bois d'Herméville, a French naval gun that was aimed at German supply and railway installations from 1915 onward.
