#OkinawaFishing #RedTailfish #Fishing Hi! This is Chun-taichou! This time, I was lucky enough to catch a redtail after fishing for bluefin tuna. Bluefin tuna travel in schools and gather around bays, fishing ports, and river mouths. They're small, but they're a delicious fish. I happened to spot a bluefin tuna while passing by! I caught one with a sabiki rig, but was defeated by a fierce attack from needlefish. I managed to catch a few, so I decided to use them as bait. I also threw in the crab bait I had brought with me and started fishing. The first fish I caught was a mouse pufferfish (known as abasa in Okinawa), which I kept because it can be made into soup. There were no bites until night, and with the street lights on, the conditions weren't great, but I persisted and got a bite that wasn't an abasa! It was a lucky redtail that came up. I wasn't aiming for bluefin tuna, so I was lucky. If there are still any bluefin tuna around, I'd like to go and catch some. I'll always support you!
