Bac My An Market is a traditional market located about a 13-minute walk from My Khe Beach, specifically from the Premier Village Da Nang Resort. It is filled with a wide variety of things to see and buy, ranging from ingredients like vegetables, fruits, and seafood to local food and even bakeries opened by foreigners. That is why I had so much fun exploring Bac My An Market that I lost track of time! I tried negotiating with a cheerful gentleman selling durian, but I didn't end up getting a discount. He was such a pleasant guy that it was fun chatting with him. One of the advantages of Bac My An Market is that many stalls display price tags, which is very helpful for foreigners! What was interesting was that most of the people in the market were Vietnamese locals, but it was a bit surprising to see quite a few Caucasians. They looked like young people who had been living in the area for a long time, and they were buying just small amounts of fruit, enough for themselves to eat. There are restaurants inside the market, but it is a completely local style where you rarely have the courage to plop down and eat.
