In this episode, we save a Chocobo (only to release him soon after), we then catch up to Delita as Gaffgarion betrays us. But we manage to retrieve Ovelia back after that mess. Ramza says it's good to see Delita again, and Delita hopes this isn't the last meeting between the two. Then we meet Mustadio who is a Machinist who is also hiding something from us. He's running away from the Baert Trading Company who deal in things like slave trading and opium, so... that's a thing in this world. It seems that Ludovich Baert wants a special stone that could give him phenomenal cosmic power, or so we're led to believe. And the plot of the game truly begins. ...sort of. Ovelia and Agrias speak about how being a princess in a time of strife is also little more than a prison and Ramza listens in. Then Ramza teaches Ovelia how to blow on a reed whistle. Meanwhile back at Eagrose Manse, Dycedarg and Gaffgarion speak about how Ramza's just too pure for this world of sin, and Dycedarg's all like "Do it Anakin, kill him" about Ramza. Ramza and the party make it to Lionel Castle where they entreat with Cardinal DelaCROIX to keep Ovelia safe, and for Mustadio to bring what are now known as the Zodiac Stone in the city of Goug to him for safe keeping, having already possessed of one for himself. Here, I'm beginning to suspect Cardinal DelaCROIX of some shady Church stuff, but that remains to be seen. We get to the City of Goug, we rescue Mustadio's father, and we learn a bit more of how important these Zodiac Stones truly are...
