Govt working on providing affordable electricity

Electricity and Energy Minister, Dr Kgosientsho Ramokgopa, says with no loadshedding expected this winter, government is prioritising making electricity more affordable. The power utility confirmed it doesn't anticipate any loadshedding during the colder months ahead. Ramokgopa says a new national electricity pricing policy on a "fair and affordable" price structure is in the final stages of development.
