MTA Bus: Full Ride Onboard 2012 New Flyer C40LF #593 on the Q28 Rush from Flushing to Bay Terrace

Taken on 7/24/2025 Seen here is a full ride onboard 2012 New Flyer C40LF #593 on the Q28 Rush from 39th Avenue & Union Street to 213th Place & Bay Terrace Shopping Center. I initially thought 23rd Avenue/Bell Blvd was the last stop, which is why I stayed on even when the driver turned off the bus. Phase 1 of the Queens Bus Network Redesign brought some changes to the Q28. The Q28 is converted into a rush route which will make limited stops on Northern Blvd (Local service on Northern Blvd is provided by the Q12), but it will make local stops throughout the rest of its route, with some stops being eliminated due to close proximity to other stops. The Q28 is also moved from Casey Stengel Depot to College Point Depot, which means you will mostly see C40LFs on the Q28. #mtabus #nycbus #onboard
