From Grocery Getting to Corner Carving: The 328i gets an F80 M3 Suspension Makeover

► A BMW can be judged on many traits, but handling is likely to top all. The F30 328i isn't a poorly handling car out of the box, especially if fitted with the Track Handling Package, but there's plenty left to be desired. The F80 M3 is a shining example of what the F30 chassis can be, so we figured, why not rob some parts? The shared F80 and F30 platforms allow for extensive parts interchangeability and support from all the usual aftermarket suspects. Bilstein DampTronic B16 coilovers provide the perfect dual-purpose damping we were looking for with this project, and they function as OE with BMW's EDC. Elsewhere, 034 Motorsports and RevShift ensured unwanted roll and bumps were handled firmly thanks to revised bushings and sway bars. Even Genuine M3 parts were grabbed to help improve the lack of front camber from the factory. Yet all of that pales compared to the most impactful change in the build. What's that going to be?
