They HATE Each Other... (The History of Texas vs Texas A&M)

One of the best rivalries in all of college football returns on Saturday for the first time since 2011, a game Texas would win in the closing moments. When Texas A&M left to join the SEC, the rivalry died and looked like it was never going to be coming back with finger-pointing from both sides as to why they no longer played each other. No one had a good answer and while the programs would put ego aside to play basketball and baseball against each other, when it came to football it did not look like it would ever come back. That was until Texas and Oklahoma announced they would be leaving the Big 12 and would be joining the SEC in 2024 putting Texas and Texas A&M back in the same conference. With the two hated rivals in the same conference, the SEC jumped at the opportunity to revive the rivalry game, and it looks to be living up to all the preseason hype being basically a college football playoff game with the winner going to the SEC championship.
