Yoga of Love: The Inner Seer | Talk by Sri Ramachandra

Sri Ramachandra was invited to deliver this talk on Chaitya Purusha: The Inner Seer by Sri Aurobindo Society, Puducherry, in 2022. The world around seems to be purely transactional in nature, devoid of anything higher and pure, and operating on ambition, greed and consumerism. However, despite the negative forces that seem to drive the world, love survives. Sri Aurobindo recognized this seat of love within us, within our heart, as the Chaitya Purusha, the Psychic Being, who is an immanent Seer, helping us to be in constant communion with the Divine. In this talk, Sri Ramachandra shares his insights on chaitya purusha, drawing from his own sadhana as well as citing examples from various Indian traditions who have recognized this inner seer, such as the Vaishana bhakti traditions, bhakti yoga traditions, Sri Ramakrishna Paramahansa, and most notably the Bauls who call the Chaitya Purusha as Moner Manush, the man of the heart.
