Wildcat Mountain - Upper Catapult to Middle Wildcat to Cheetah (Top to Bottom Run)

Upper Catapult to Middle Wildcat to Cheetah is an intermediate ski run located at Wildcat Mountain. The trails run from the summit of the ski area, down to the base area. The run starts off to the right when coming off of the Wildcat Express Quad chairlift as Upper Catapult. Upper Catapult starts out mellow and narrow. The trail then takes a sharp turn to the skier's right. The trail widens and passes next to the Wildcat Express Quad for a brief moment before turning away from the chairlift. Not long after the trail merges with Cat Track where Middle Catapult (advanced) exits to the skier's right, while Middle Wildcat continues straight. The trail runs pretty straight with just a few little drops. Eventually, Cheetah exits off to the skier's right. Cheetah runs pretty straight down the mountain until it reaches the base area. Wildcat Mountain Resort is a ski area located in Pinkham's Grant, New Hampshire, located in between the towns of Jackson and Gorham. The mountain is known for being located directly across from Mount Washington, the tallest mountain in the Northeastern US, providing amazing views. The ski area is also known for its long groomers and plentiful ungroomed and steep trails. With just over 2,000 feet of vertical, Wildcat is the second tallest ski area in New Hampshire after Cannon. Even though the ski area is located right in the heart of the White Mountain Nation Forest, it is still extremely accessible, being located right off of NH Route 16. During the summer of 2019, the ski area was purchased by Vail Resorts from Peak Resorts, which resulted in Wildcat joining the Epic Pass. The ski area is sister resorts with Attitash, which is located just 20 min down the road. Both ski areas share the same tickets, so one can ski both ski areas on the same day (currently not the case due to COVID). In the summer, Wildcat is home to disc golf, a zip-line, and scenic gondola rides.
