Clearing Land & Harvesting Elderflowers

EPISODE 107 Shows the last few days we’ve been clearing the land around the house, finishing the shower room, cooking a simple tortilla dinner (recipe below!) and harvesting elderflowers from around the farm for a homemade elderflower champagne. A mix of carpentry, cozy living, and creating our home — one day at a time. You can do it here — thank you from the heart! 💛 https://buymeacoffee.com/amauryandnati Tortilla Recipe Ingredients: 10 eggs 1–1.2 kg potatoes 1 large onion 1 red pepper 180–250 ml olive oil Salt Prep everything: Potatoes: thin slices or half moons Onion: thin strips Red pepper: thin strips or small cubes Parsley chopped Heat some olive oil over medium-low heat. Cook onion + red pepper about 10 minutes. They should become soft and sweet, not browned. Remove and reserve. Add more oil if needed. Add potatoes with salt. Cook on medium-low for about 18–22 min. Stir occasionally. You want: very soft potatoes little to no browning gentle bubbling only When done, combine again with the onion + pepper mixture. Beat the 10 eggs well with salt. Add the hot potato mixture. Let rest 5 minutes (for a creamier texture) Put a little oil in the pan. Pour everything in. Cook over medium-low heat about: 7–9 min first side 5–7 min second side Because it’s thick, go slowly.
