The investigation reconstructs an unprecedented criminal plan connecting Entre Ríos and Córdoba provinces and opens two separate cases: the murder of taxi driver Martín Palacio (whose body was found in the Puerto Yeruá area) and the double femicide of Luna and her mother Mariel in Villa Serrana, Córdoba. According to the police report, Pablo Laurta crossed from Salto, Uruguay, to Puerto Yeruá on October 4th by canoe, using a false identity. He stayed at a hotel in Concordia and arranged to meet the taxi driver at the bus terminal. Minutes later, he executed him, dismembered his body, and scattered the remains; the torso was found near the Yeruá stream. Using the victim's car, Laurta began a nighttime journey through General Campos, San Salvador, and Villaguay, before arriving in Córdoba, where on October 9th he burned the vehicle (after damaging the trunk and fenders). On October 11, now using his real name, he entered Luna and Mariel's house and murdered them in front of the child (who is now 6 years old). He then tried to travel with the boy; when he encountered obstacles, he hired a taxi to Gualeguaychú and attempted to return to Concordia to retrieve the canoe. During a raid, police found the taxi driver's wallet and documents in his possession, indicating an attempt to assume a third identity to flee. The Minister of Human Development of Córdoba confirmed that the child was placed in state care with a foster family in his community, prioritizing his emotional well-being and avoiding institutionalization. The case is proceeding with the hypothesis of a planned identity change, interprovincial logistics, and extreme violence.
