Lori and Kristy answer a question from Angel rider parents! Question: As a parent what types of things can I send with my Angel rider during a race? Medications? Toys? Drinks? Snacks? Answer: It depends on the rider and their needs, as well as the duration of the race, and the weather. Question: How can you talk to race organizers about allowing special needs chairs to be pushed in a race that does not allow strollers? Answer: The most important thing is early and advanced communication when reaching out to race directors and organizers. Their goal is to do to good in the community, so convey the special circumstances, your cause, and story behind inclusion in running.
