DOCUMENTAL SOBRE JAIME GARZÓN: JURO QUE NO MORÍ | CAPÍTULO 1: LA PALABRA COMO ACTO DE LIBERTAD 🗣🎙

Twenty-six years after Jaime Garzón's assassination, his legacy remains alive in the collective memory, in the civic struggles and social dilemmas he was able to denounce with insight and humanity. However, new generations are growing up without having known him, and sectors of society are still unaware of the depth of his thought, his political action, and his role as a symbol of hope amidst contexts marked by violence and despair. The video series "I Swear I Didn't Die" was born from Banca del Parque Radio as an act of memory, pedagogy, and art. This project seeks to highlight Jaime Garzón's relevance, not only as a media personality or victim of the conflict, but as a political subject whose life and thought emerged from a particular era, particular social and family conditions, and a set of personal qualities that led him to become a critical conscience of the country. Revitalizing its message in the present not only honors its history, but also challenges today's society to assume a more conscious, empathetic, and committed role in social transformation. This production also responds to the need to generate alternative spaces for communication and reflection in a media landscape saturated with noise, but lacking in depth and memory.
