Florida Highway Patrol truck light and reflector inspection at Sneads weigh station on Interstate 10

FHP Trooper Bobby Simmons and Trooper John Sewell examine tractor-trailer lights and reflectors during a recent Level 1 inspection ahead of the June 4-6 Commercial Vehicle Safety Alliance International Roadcheck blitz. Lighting violations accounted for 12 percent of out-of-service violations during last year’s blitz. The truck at the end of this video has malfunctioning marker lights which Trooper Sewell notes in his report.
