#DownSyndrome #Autism #SpecialNeedsFamily In this episode you will see Joe and Autumn ice skating for the first time. At first it didn't go very well and Autumn seemed very uncomfortable on the ice. We took a lot of breaks in between and eventually by the end of the session she was doing pretty good. We were so proud that she was so cooperative when putting on her skates and participating in this new activity. Children with special needs usually have a very hard time with new places and new activities. I am usually very hesitant when taking Autumn to new places because she usually just cries and has very bad tantrums and doesn't want to participate.
