Find all of our courses and workshops on our website: www.flowaufgussacademy.com Aufguss is a guided sauna ritual (the word is German for “infusion”) where a sauna master creates waves of hotter, more humid air by pouring water often mixed with essential oils, or sometimes using scented ice balls onto hot stones and then “fanning” the steam through the room with a towel. A typical Aufguss round is often described as roughly 12–15 minutes, with heat and intensity building in phases as more water/ice is added and the steam is redistributed.
