Without electricity or running water, he has transformed the ruin into a self-sufficient home, leaving his native Bilbao behind to start a new life surrounded by nature after overcoming cancer, which forced him to completely rethink his priorities. He currently has three farmhouses available for rent at a mere €300 per month, which he is gradually restoring to prevent their abandonment and return them to their former glory. His goal is to rehabilitate them and turn them back into vibrant homes.
