Shooting Sports with The Sony A9 & Sigma 120-300mm f/2.8 DG OS HSM Sport, MC11
This is a longer video than I usually post but this assignment had more personal meaning. Please feel free to advance the video to the parts you want to see by using the times in the first 30 seconds. I returned to my high school on Chicago's South Side and shot a football game. I used the game to test the Sony A9 with the Sigma MC11 and the Sigma 120-300mm f/2.8 DG OS HSM Sport lens. When using non FE glass on the A9, the frame rate drops from 20 fps to 10, but I found that to be more than enough to provide me images. The combination was nothing like an A9 with G-Master glass, but was impressive all the same. I've been testing out long fast prime options for the A9 with the two adapters over the past couple of weeks. Please look for my other videos on this topic, and as always, thanks for watching :)
