POF Scam

POF Scam is something you may have seen and not even realized it. Why? Because the red flags are often subtle, but you need to be on your guard! In this video, I will illustrate 2 examples of what a potential POF scam may look like (although I couldn't be 100% sure that it was, which leads me to..) **DISCLAIMER** I am not discrediting the existence or need for online companies that may provide security services for people seeking background checks on individuals they are potentially dating. The definition of a POF scam is broad and open to interpretation. From a safety perspective, people do not want to be catfished or have their safety threatened by stalkers and/or sexual predators online. However, for the purposes of this video (and to avoid the conversation being so dark) we will only discuss a POF scam that relates to misrepresentation. That means, if you are not a real person who is a dating app with the intent of dating (however legitimate the service you may offering) then you are misleading users who are otherwise oblivious to who you really are. My sole objective in this video is to raise awareness and for you to exercise good judgement. See the samples I've provided and decide for yourself, are the profiles real or are they a POF scam?
