Creativity of the Blue Dog: Jacques Rodrigue at TEDxLSU

Jacques Rodrigue, son of famed Blue Dog artist George Rodrigue, bypassed a career in law to work to help Louisiana education through arts-integration. Jacques traces his father's artistic history in order to draw parallels between his own career path and how we have to prepare our students for a life full of unknown opportunities. In the spirit of ideas worth spreading, TEDx is a program of local, self-organized events that bring people together to share a TED-like experience. At a TEDx event, TEDTalks video and live speakers combine to spark deep discussion and connection in a small group. These local, self-organized events are branded TEDx, where x = independently organized TED event.
