Mirror's Edge Catalyst Review: Better Than The Original?

Mirror's Edge Catalyst takes Faith Connors back to the rooftops of the futuristic city of Glass in this reboot of the Mirror's Edge franchise. Featuring an open-world structure, expanded parkour mechanics, new abilities, and a beautiful visual style, Catalyst attempts to improve upon the original game while introducing its own ideas. In this review, I discuss the gameplay, story, graphics, sound design, replayability, and whether Mirror's Edge Catalyst succeeds as a reboot. While the game struggles with a weak narrative and some gameplay issues, its fantastic movement system, stunning art direction, and enjoyable open-world design make it a very fun experience overall.
