Muhanna Rabie… The Young Man Who Revives the Voice of Al-Banna "The State of Recitation" is a major Egyptian religious television competition program launched in cooperation between the Ministry of Religious Endowments and the United Media Services Company. The program aims to discover young talents in reciting and intoning the Holy Quran, with a focus on reviving the authentic Egyptian school of recitation. The program airs twice a week (Friday and Saturday) at 9:00 PM on several channels, including Al-Hayat, CBC, and Al-Nas, as well as on the Watch It platform. The program carries a spiritual and patriotic message, striving to give young people the opportunity to hone their Quranic talents while infusing spirituality and beauty into verses recited with mastery and knowledge. The program's prizes are substantial: reaching 3.5 million Egyptian pounds. The top two winners in the recitation and intonation categories will each receive one million pounds, in addition to having their entire Quran recorded and broadcast on the "Egypt Quran Karim" channel, and the honor of leading the Taraweeh prayers at the Imam Hussein Mosque during the upcoming Ramadan. The program has also been met with great enthusiasm: more than 14,000 contestants from across Egypt have applied, reflecting the genuine passion of young people to participate in this major Quranic project.
