On weekends, thousands of locals and tourists come here: some have picnics, play sports, play musical instruments, or simply relax after a busy week. 💡 Fun fact: Central Park is visited by over 40 million people annually, making it one of the most visited city parks in the world. 🏙 Sunday Manhattan We continue our walk along 7th Avenue and through Times Square. Sunday evenings in downtown New York are noticeably different from weekdays: more tourists, leisurely strolls, and people enjoying the last hours of the weekend. 💡 Fun fact: Hundreds of thousands of people pass through Times Square every day, and during the tourist season, this number increases even more. 🌅 The Last Sunset of July During our walk, we'll tell you that July 12th is the last day in 2026 when you can see the famous Manhattanhenge phenomenon: the setting sun aligning itself between the streets of Manhattan. This phenomenon only occurs a few days a year, thanks to the unusual layout of Manhattan's street grid.
