The Armies of the Saints | Chapter 19 - Lesson 209

In this lesson, Brother James discusses the devastating impact of the Lord’s judgment at His second coming, particularly the consequences for those gathered at Armageddon. Drawing from Jeremiah 25, he emphasizes that the slain of the Lord will be from one end of the earth to the other, and no one will be left to lament or bury them. Buzzards and other scavengers will feast on their corpses after the battle. Brother James also teaches about the armies of saints who will return with Christ. He explains that this army, made up of the redeemed, will accompany Jesus at His second coming, but they will not participate in the battle; Christ alone will defeat His enemies. These saints, clothed in fine linen, white and clean, represent the faithful who follow Jesus, but the actual treading of the winepress, symbolizing the destruction of the wicked, will be done solely by Christ.
